... and I now have a cap. Definitely a bit rough around the edges, but the price was right.

That is for engine coolant to be pumped to the trans to increase trans fluid operating temperature faster.

Hey guys, been away for a while.

It's looking like it's time to start looking at new tires, and this has me looking to bump up to 16" from my stock 15" wheels for more options.

I've been poking around for a while and it seems like all the deals are on the wrong coast. I'm not really a wheel guy to begin with, and I'm on that nursing school budget, so I figured I'd ask if any of you guys are sitting on some shitty 16" wheels that you wouldn't mind letting go of for dirt cheap lol. Bit of a shot in the dark but I thought I'd ask.

    Stock....ish
Why not stay on 15's? Tires are cheaper than 16's

Tire selection mostly. I'm looking especially closely at Duratracs, their knockoffs from Kanati, or KO2s etc. There just seem to be more options for the 16" size, and this is especially true in the lightly used tire market.

    See what I mean? lol

Free if anyone wants them. Off of an access cab. Was going to try and get a few bucks, but they're not in the greatest shape. Going in the dumpster on Sunday unless someone claims them.

The brackets are worth more than that in saved time not having to make them if you do something custom. Even just using them as a template.

So I have a set of OEM front coilovers from my 2016 4Runner i'm looking to sell. Anyone want to try them in their Tacoma, see if they offer any lift?

They'd fit. I think the 4Runner is heavier than the 3rd gen, even heavier than the 2nd gen. I think they would lift both gen Tacoma's but not sure how much. Who wants to be a guinea pig? If it works, $150 if not, no harm, we learned. I'll even help with the install.
