MAF will not be starting, unless something just happened that I'm unaware of.

I wouldn't mind it . . . Even thou Murray is the No. 1 goalie, I would have liked to see Sully ride the hot hand and not yank him the first chance he got to do so . . .

 

I get that and there are plenty of people who probably agree with you.

But Murray has too many positives to not roll with. He's better, he's less erratic (which makes things easier for the defense, especially when it comes to shot-blocking) and his numbers are like out of this world good. MAF is probably the 2nd best goalie in the league at making the 2nd save (behind Quick) but Murray is probably top 5 at making the 1st save, being in position and tracking the puck. Plus, mentally he is far more stable. I expect a big bounce back game for Murz, like he always does. Hope I am right lol. But ya, I know ppl love Flower, so I have no problem with people wanting to see him in there, I just think there are a lot of small things that people over-look when they prefer 29 to 30.

lol ... what's the story on that ? ... KNX1070 mentioned it coming up in the sportscast but I missed it.

 

PK got in Sid's face at the end of the game and was asked what was said. PK joked that Sid told him he had bad breath (but that wasn't what Sid said). So now the media has been talking about it and PK has run with it. Sid on the other hand kinda hates it and doesn't want to talk about that side of it. But 1 have 1 guy who likes the attention and the other who is pretty business-like. Not saying 1 is better than the other.

1.96 GAA and .930 sv% this year in playoffs lol. Call that what you want but I don't know too many teams that wouldn't love to have their tender posting up such numbers. Murray wasn't the problem last game and rarely is.

I'm more worried about how good Nashville was at closing the walls off, shutting down some of the Pens transition, keeping Sid and Geno without a shot and the 1-sided special teams battles. But the Pens usually adjust and find a way. We will see.

Negative. He was average and so was their team. He was insane games 1 and 2

 

Right and you were wrong still. He was fantastic in the 1st period and the Pens shit the bed in the final 40mins. Jossi's goal and Neal's were puck luck. You can't blame him for letting in a goal on the 3rd breakaway of game. The other 2 he maybe could've had but it is what it is. Pens had an opportunity to take that game with Murray playing great in the 1st, and Jake G getting that early goal. But they didn't make the most of it and try to keep Rinne rattled. Even if you want to call Murray's last game bad, what makes you think he won't bounce back like he has the last 2 playoffs?

I swear you get so caught up in your own trolling, that logic goes out the window. Lol

Murray was a seive last game , its hard to argue unless you are a Pens fan I get it , that doesn't make me a troll any more than the fact I hate the Leafs makes me a troll
