I put an order in for a 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro, Manual Transmission, Cement Gray with a dealer in Utah. Still waiting for it. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

A lot of guys have went through the same thing. Waiting months for their Pro. Mine was listed online, and wasn't at the dealer yet. So for me it was a fairly painless process. A deposit to hold, then waited a week or so for truck to arrive. FYI, there is no "ordering" a Pro, but rather an allocation by dealer to get one built and shipped. It's been suggested many times to find one already on a dealer lot and if necessary buy a one way airline ticket to pick it up.

So at what point do we think those of us at this point in the year promised an allocation
Will end up getting one or the model year will change and we'll be faced with the unknown for 2018 models

I saw a figure that they were building 1000 2017 model Trd Pro's. My local Toyota dealer has gotten 3 all Cement color trucks in within the last month or so.

    Grats!

Did you chose that size tire for any specific reason?

Thanks. Yes, doesn't rub with the stock Pro suspension, but still achieves 33s. Sits about an inch taller. Not planning on changing the factory suspension.

Ok thanks. I'm wondering what to do for tires as well. Also want to keep stock suspension. Perhaps change rear springs if necessary.

I understand where you're coming from. I starting with just tires, tint and tonneau (trifold). The Pro doesn't need much else for me at least. Auto locking tailgate in the works.

Exactly why I got one. Didn't want to mess with suspension and so forth. You're right as to not needing one. But the Pro doesn't need much.

    none yet/none planned! It's perfect!
I paid MSRP and rode a train 3 hours to Washington Missouri to get it! I put a deposit down and 15 minutes later a guy from Georgia called and wanted it. They said they wasn't worried about me picking it up because they had plenty of people calling and wanting it.
