I got a question... how are they deciding what rears need the recall. I have a 16 sport with man tranny and I'm not on the list. Is it just the automatics that are re-called?

 

I already stated in the other thread. Decline the recall citing time constraints. The ball is still in their court for liability. If you let them inspect it and then deny service or loaner, you just bought the farm.

 

Its by your VIN number.

For those who think that Toyota is keeping their trucks too long.... This is directly from the NHTSA web site. They are directions dealing specifically with this recall (17V285)
