    My son explains Phoenix Jul/Aug Summer like the bitter sub-zero periods in Alaska ... only you go from AC'd house to AC'd car versus heated house to heated car. Even auto-starts are used to pre-cool the way we preheat. ... the only variance is they spend time in the pool too. :)

    The hottest weather ive ever experienced was 122° which was in lake havasu Arizona in 1996..
