    This might be easier and cheaper. Plus you can take it with you when your done.

    I found it was helpful to either push the car antenna down (if possible) or just remove it. Otherwise whatever fm station you use there probably is a radio station already using it...

    I have something similar. Like you said- too much radio interference in the Bay Area. Can't remove the antenna because KQED :anonymous:

    I had a USA SPEC adapter when I still had my OEM stereo. It worked pretty good and I installed it myself pretty easily
