I am a mall crawler, what can I say

 

I was going to say that road looks way too flat to be enjoyable, I've heard that whole area is beautiful though. I'll be camping up there in September. Soo... What are you going to do at Ardbeg?

 

Area gets really crowded in the summer, so good choice on going in September. I wasn't even been able to get to a National Park when I was there, had to take some "detour"...

I'll be ready for Arberg, only need to switch from my highway shoes to some Bro (or whatever I find for a good $) tires

 

Is the plan to camp there June 24?

 

I'm going to be getting there the Thursday to get a good spot.

 

Or earlier if you can. I may try and make it out Friday. But yea the saterday to the Sunday.

I'm hoping to join you up in Ardbeg as well. Where are you meeting and when?

45.648227,-80.179054. If I remember correctly there is a sheet of bedrock going into the the lake. A great spot, not too deep into the trail, with plenty of parking space. I think there was like 5 trucks parked there and a couple of tents.

For those coming from gta, can always meet at the Canadian tire off the 400 in Barrie.

 

How about the Tim Hortons in parry sound? Its the last stop to get supplies and fuel and relatively easy to find.

I'll be meeting you guys out on the trails. Parry sound is out of the way for me, I'm coming from highway 17. I won't be getting up there until the friday afternoon anyways.

 

Hwy 17 is a nice drive.

 

285/75r16's ordered and getting installed on Thursday. Now I should be good to go everywhere I wanna go in Ardbeg.

 

How much of a benefit would I be getting from 265 70 17 to 285 70 17? I've viewed the tire size calculator specs and I don't see a justification for the added weight. Am I missing something?
