As of 2/25/2023, Betty white has been sold. The new owner and I are now Facebook friends and I’ll continue to update the thread with any info I get from there.

This is Betty White and how she sits as of 11/15/2022

TL;DR: I like trucks and stuff.

What's up guys, and welcome to by build thread! For those who know me, I used to have a 2015 Tacoma named Stewie that I spent a lot of time on and loved every second of it. I ended up PCS'ing to MD where I needed a more commuter friendly car, so I had to sell my beloved Stewie and buy a Subaru. I love The Grey Goose (my Subaru) but alas, it's no Tacoma. Fast forward eight months, and I really got the itch again. My wife knows how much I miss my truck, so with a little convincing, she approved my buying another one. After quite a few trucks where I was too slow and someone else bought before me, I came across this one.

It's a 2005 SR5 with 165k miles, V6, 6MT, brand new frame and leafs, new tires, and I got it for $9.5k. Not. Too. Shabby.

I'm not really sure as to the direction of this build, aside from making it reliable, yet very capable off-road and comfortable to take camping. This won't be an over-the-top build with a shit load of money invested, but I promise it'll be a fun one! Anyways, onto the truck.

    Here's Stewie (RIP)

    And finally, Betty White!

I do too. They're 15mm offset as opposed to the stock 30mm, so they've got a little poke.

I totally approve the ARB front bumper! Especially on pre 2012 Tacos.

Do you have a link for that music bling bling? Does it work with batteries or with the power of the HU?

Still undecided on the wheels. Probably going to paint them satin black like Casper had his. With the white lettering out I think it'll look nice!
