I'm kind of a hover parent I think. Like the first few months we had her she bruised her elbow and I brought her in. They basically told me she had the equivalent of a scraped knee, but they cleaned it out and charged me $300 for the visit anyway.

I try to make better judgement calls now. She's not profusely bleeding and can still walk on it granted she's limping. But I think she'll be fine. As long as it doesn't get infected or worse I'll just take it easy on her with the hiking and play.
