We should do a long weekend trip to windrock sometime in the future. Just camp and wheel for 3 days.

 

Freeway is faster. Mostly if you drive like me.

Ok boys, I need some help. I'm about to give up on getting this swr down, I've been working with this cb trying to get it down for the last 3 hours. I tried connecting a wire from the antenna mount to the frame, that didn't lower it. I've also tried connecting straight to the battery and while it does look a whole lot cleaner my swr is still 4.1 on channel 1 and 4.1 on channel 40. I'm beginning to think my swr meter is broken or maybe I don't know how to use it..

The trails and ratings were just garbage. I'd be on an 'easy' trail that just turned into a fucking you-need-40s-and-may-still-RIP-out-your-transmission kinda trail. No loop arounds or anything so it was constant backtracking. But that was just my experience haha.

From what I've seen grounding to the frame with the wire should've lowered my SWR

 

Not the one we made the trail on, the one yall had second one that we used the rock the trail that took forever to get down by stairway to heaven. That tree you got stuck by for a second and almost hit your bed on. I knew someone was taking video or pictures just couldnt remember who.
