    You know.. I keep feeling a slight hesitation but keep putting it down to the engine being cold or me hitting a bump in the road that jolts the truck a bit... it could actually be a hesitation.

    I am dealing w/ the same thing....feels like hesitation but its not overwhelmingly convincing that it actually is. I think this board has me totally paranoid about my truck ;)

    Pictures after the install would be great! I'm looking at getting the Slee mount.

    A few minor things...

    Any tips on running signal cables through the firewall?

    I just finished assembling my bussmann box and prewired a few switches, but I don't know which grommet to use.

    I really love the message they're spreading. If you have the time, check out their podcasts. They're only about 15 minutes long. But they really sold me on the group. Take care!

    I discarded the upper bracket that comes with the Slee mount and fabricated the small twisted bracket you see on top in the photo. The rest is standard Slee parts & installation.

    On the driver's side;
    You can go alongside the main wire harness bundle - there is room, but also a fair amount of tape/adhesive residue to get through.
    You can also pierce a new hole in the rubber grommet for the main harness
    There is also a smaller rubber plug near the main harness which you can either replace with a grommet or simply drill/cut the center of the plug out to pass wires through.

    On passenger side;
    There are a couple rubber 'nipples' that you can cut the end off of to let wires pass through.
    There is also a rubber plug as on the driver's side which you can replace with a grommet or cut the center out of.

    All of them are viable depending on your wiring needs. I have used several of them on both sides for my needs.

    My Bussman set-up had a small bundle of 6-8 wires that needed to be routed into the cab for switches, etc. I chose to use the small rubber plug on the driver's side and just cut the center out of it.

    Hope that helps.
