Serious question (let's try this): have you noticed significant development or any benefits from decline bench?

 

I like decline bench but I don't have one available at my current gym. I haven't had one in about 4 years. I think it's a good auxilary movement but it doesn't beat or replace flat bench. Flat and Incline are your money makers

 

Then I will continue to ignore that piece of equipment in my gym and stick to my flat and incline!

 

I agree that flat and incline are staples. I do those 2 every chest day. Decline, I'll do maybe once a month. It hurts my shoulders to go heavy on it and it's an awkward angle, so I don't do it much, but I do feel it in my chest when I do it, so I don't think it's completely useless.

 

It's "tough" brah. @zacharypaul89 , I think @SLO/TACO likes you.

 

I don't do decline bench either. Never liked them. I like to do dips. Also I don't even lift.

Since you were interested in my advice I think decline movement is a good one!

 

Just use a sit up bench and the smith machine
