Yeah i cant touch my diff right now anyway under the recall. You should go back and look at the video i posted of it before i put the lift in. But yes i will most likely need new tires before i reach the locker stage plus the wife needs a new car in the middle of all this modification to my 7 month old truck. Real sliders too i need and a few more skids underneath would be good, then upgeade from the bilstiens to fox, icon, or king, with uca, lca, and new springs. Yes the list is longer than mods naughty list here on TW. But i will get there or die trying.

I am going to see if Shmellmopwho can make me a recovery hook. I might even be able to come up with the material. Have to talk to him when he gets home from vacation.

damn dude, that's leaking bad...I hope you aren't driving it right now. You don't want to end up like this guy on the 110 freeway. Pretty sure his case with Toyota last year is one of the ones that sparked the recall on the rear diffs.

Or at the very least be sure to keep topping it off every few days or so

The original post has been updated for Big Bear. Looks like Cactus flats it is since i have heard no protesting. There are a ton of trails around there from easy to difficult. I will need to spend Friday working and getting ready to leave Saturday morning. Hope I can get a roll call of who is all down. Pm'ing me would let me know who is in. Thank you and if you have any questions please ask. You will need water (dry site no running water), propane (NO FIRES are allowed), so no charcoal and no wood. A wood fire ticket is $2000.00 and they really frown. Ask me how I know :(. There is a bathroom in site so you won't have to go to the bushes or tree line, unless you like to pee freely.:rofl:
    Have a good day everyone.

Not sure. I will have to look into it tonight. You seem to have a lot more experience than I do up there. What is your recommendation?

Bummer on the fire pits. Is there any shade at Cactus flats? Looks very open on google maps, but hard to tell.

Website says we are allowed to have a fire at the yellow post sites and no adventure pass is required.
Maybe we should try to camp at one of these sites? I'm open to either, but I do like the idea of having a fire pit to sit around on Saturday.
