Ok, so yesterday my engine check light (i think thats what it is) stayed on even after i turn on my truck. I tried the gas cap, cause that's what i've heard the main cause of it is. And that still didn't work.

Today, the light did not come back on...

I already made an appointment at the dealership, so i am going to go ahead and go anyway to see if there is a problem.

Has this happened to anybody? What might have caused it?

    getting there....
if it came on then went off....sounds like a piece of dust or something may have been interfering with the sensor, and it corrected itself.
