Awesome! I may look into doing that then. I've got the same dual-battery setup.

Hey, how do you like the new cover? I actually ordered the same one yesterday from tonneaucoversworld.com. Seemed pretty descent for the price. I'm hoping to have it by the weekend.

That "absorber" will put micro scratches in your paint. I learned the hard way. I now use Chinchilla buffing cloths to dry mine off and use the "absorber" to dry my shower tile everyday after I shower.

Which rack did you go with? I just purchased two stand up paddle boards and looking for a good rack to go with it.

If any of you guys are interested in some Westin HDX steps for your truck...

Now is a great time to buy!

Normally 399... But if you go through AutoAnything you can negotiate in chat down to 319.... Plus they have a $50 dollar mail on rebate promotion going right now as well...

Real truck was willing to drop the price 20, Autoanything dropped the price 80...

Back story.... I initially ordered through Real truck.. Who told me they'd ship in 3 days... Then 5 days later i email for info since i never got an update... Then they tell me due to production delays it will be June 22nd before they ship.. I don't think they would have ever even let me know it was delayed had i not asked about my order...

Then i contact Autoanything, who gave me a way better price and they say they currently have 10 in stock ready to ship!

    Just an FYI....

I had a silver 2016 (3months then totaled), mag grey 2016(only 3 days), white 2016 (1 year then traded for 4x4), and now black 2017...

What i have learned.... That black has the softest clear coat i have ever seen. It scratches, shows scratches way way easier.

Any tips for hiding clear coat scratches on these black trucks?

Thanks for the link! I'll have to check them drying clothes out!

    Be careful with it.

Polish and put a sealant/ceramic coating on it would be your best bet for protection.

Be careful with the drying cloth or the truck?

I will have to do something... But i didn't get a 4x4 to "be careful with it" hahaha!!!

I'm in the woods now. Brush covered roads are part of it... Branches will reach out and brush up against you. But none of my other vehicles have ever shown clear coat scratches so easily.

How much do sealants or ceramic coats run?

Maybe I'll wait until it's completely covered in scratches and then do a vinyl wrap LOL

Where did you get that TRD badge on your grille?

Did you go with steel or aluminum?
