    Toyota running boards/Solid Fold 2.0/custom stickers/Anti-Dark LED light under hood/Derped grill/Scoop, etc.
    Damn, those are expensive....even in US $...!! I would NOT pay that much.... shop around after..... easy install...!

    I've got the running OEM boards on mine for around $500 CDN (dealer price)....they are not aluminum, but that does not matter...Steel is good too.

    I'd bet you could get those for around 300-400 US.... Non-dealer..!

    I have them and don't like them. They don't sit in a good spot and just get in the way getting in and out. Rub dirt all over your pants.

    If it's a 4X4 sliders may make more sense imo. I've seen some nice looking ones that can also be used as step for the kids.

    I've got the factory cast aluminum, picked them up on E-bay for $500 shipped and could not be happier with them. Won't rust, look sharp, and keep the truck cleaner. My JK is my off-road toy so sliders would be overkill for me. Added reason, my wife wanted and uses them.

    I'm in Iowa, they keep the salt/sand/snow off the side of the truck. I will admit it took some getting use to getting in and out of the truck, as mentioned it can dirty a pant leg. Once I "trained" myself to step out and not slide out it wasn't a problem.

    Lifesavers come in 7 different flavors for a reason...

    I bought the factory cast alum. running boards from Toyota for $750 after I bought my truck, they are great but they stick out a bit too far for me, they're wrapped up in my garage, so if anyone wants them pm me make me an offer, I'm in the west Los Angeles area., sorry for the hijack.

    Didnt realize how convenient the steps were for those "hard to wash" spots until i got rid of them. Them are definitely muti purpose.

    The factory steps attatch to the underside of the body where as sliders either bolt/weld onto the frame. So sliders would definately give you more protection. The factory steps should do fine against and door dings tho...
