If you're going to replace your front or rear blinkers or brake lights (if you have the old 05-08 style red tail lights) I would not use the ZEVO brand.. I bought some of these for my brake lights: https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-3157-White-Contains-Bulbs/dp/B01A77QW52 and had to take them back because they weren't bright enough (I couldn't see when the tail lights were on during the day, only the brake lights). I ended up getting a pair of these even though they don't have a lifetime warranty, they're much brighter and have served me well the past few months https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-315...74630&sr=1-3&keywords=sylvania+3157+white+led

I used these at first but changed to the red because it caused my brake light to look faded...

So the ZEVO brand is bright for the corners and third brake lights and then go with the ones you linked for the normal brake lights?

Yeah that's what I found out the hard way. The 3157 Zevo's (for the brake lights) don't have but two LED chips on them so im guessing that is why they aren't all that bright. Also, the ones I linked for the normal brake lights are the exact style I used, but I cant remember if I went with white or red.. But those obviously have many more led chips on them and are bright enough for brake and tail light use

The dealer when I bought my truck wouldn't budge on the price, so they started tossing in all the TRD stuff for me to sign the deal. Shift knob was included.

I see them from $70-$80. PTR51-00110 TRD Shift Knob.

I'll more than likely get the red from what i've read previously about them not being bright enough when they were the white ones. Kinda silly question here, and i don't know if you would know the answer, but would I need to get a relay for the turn signals if I decide to get the ZEVOs for the turn signals?

I see reference to 2011-2015 but would they would fit a 2010 Tacoma?

Since they're LED, you will likely have hyperflash if you just drop those in there in replacement of the factory incandescents. What you would need is a load resistor of some sort so that the computer doesn't think you have a bulb burned out (which is what causes hyperflash since LED's draw much less power vs. regular bulbs). Load resistors, for the most part require you to cut into your wiring harness, but there are some plug and play options out there like VLED's, but they can get real pricey, real quick.. Hope this helps some

It totally does! Thanks a lot for the info. That whole thing of adding to my wiring setup it was is holding me back since i'm not too electrically inclined. Maybe one day i'll bite the bullet and do it haha

I don't know why they reference only those years for that part. It should be 2005-2015

Good point. I completely forgot about how the beam pattern looks. I bought some aftermarket head lights for my 2002 way back when and the beam pattern was garbage compared to my OEM. I guess i'll do some more digging.

There are times where you can get away with buying an off brand and there are times you want stuck with the OEM. This is one of those times OEM is best.
