    Any antenna can be removable if you want it to be, a QD-coupler makes it real fast. I just have mine mounted on the back of the bed with a BAMF mount. The coax is connected through the mount to a spring and the fiberglass mast is on the spring. If I need the clearance, I pull out a 1" crescent wrench that I keep in the center console and spin the antenna off the spring, leaving the rest there.
