might use the taco bed as a raised work platform while I work on the 95 F350 this weekend to set injector armature clearance and change IPR o rings.

 

Haha when I put my lift in I didn't even look at the condition of the links ends I just went right for the cut off wheel no fucks given

 

mine creak like hell too, its not an actual issue is it? just annoying.

 

from what i read the TSB was from 05-11 tacomas but the newer ones have the same issues, you might be able to have a dealer replace them depending on the year of your truck.

 

I think the single cab would be a bit shorter, but it does take time.

Had some serious chunks in mine, just did it over the weekend. Might have been done before by previous owner as the oil wasn't too dark.

 

That's what should have done based on prior experience. Install took two weeks because i shredded the end links and put everything back together to order new ones and I was out of town last week. Also decided to go with Moog sway bar bushings. It's a dream on the test drive without the sway bar clanking around down there.

 

.. so this showed up from the Canadian East Coast today. So chuffed.

Yeah, i know, big deal - 4.10 .. but when you are working with non-upgradeable 3.31 and you want to go to 235/85R16 just for shits and giggles. This, and possibly a Detroit Tru-Trac, will mark the end-run of a multi-year truck project.

I had the leaf recall done. its the new set that's squeaking like a whore. was wondering if the noise might lead to something more serious

 

Just got my new Taillights from the Santa in the big brown truck! Gonna get them installed asap, and will shoot some pics!

 

mine were too and had a small hairline crack so if i were you i would totally check them out!!!

 

considering I had them replaced like 2k miles ago for the recall I would be rattled if I found out they are cracked
