Ummm... alright... You ordered something, and it got to you? This isn't perhaps a positive side to TOD in response to the multi-page fiasco 2003RC51 is having, is it?

    Anyway, photos? ;-)

I've never had a problem with them either, and will continue to give them my business.

I don't mean to be offensive, just extremely blunt. This isn't directed soley at you, just everyone that has the same view you share, here.

You're the reason these companies get away with treating customers like crap. I think what you just wrote is the most selfish thing I've had the chance to read today. "Oh look, he's robbing that person, but hey, he makes me feel good, so I'll just ignore it because he likes me and won't do it to me, ever.". Really? Is there no sense of holding people and companies responsible for their actions as a whole? Are we really that inwardly focused that we can sit by and watch someone get ripped off, and still give our business to that company because they haven't yet done it to us?

No wonder it's still in business. Companies don't need to worry about consumers getting upset because selfish consumers like you exists.

    /endrant.

Edit: When I read it, this is quite harsh, but something inside of me won't let me adjust it to be softer. Again, not directly at you, just stereotyping you, is all.

It's fine, dude. Sometimes there just isn't a "nicer" way to say things.

But I'm also not going to stray away from a place just from one bad review. I read the other threads, and I came to my own conclusions.

I was gonna refrain from posting in this thread, mainly for the simple fact that it is a childish post but I decided to anyway.

To the op, I am glad you had a good experience.

I am betting you would not have posted this had your bed mat came with a rip in it, Then when you call to let them know it's damaged, and they "fix" the problem by sending you some tape.

As for this comment, It is not just one bad review. A business does not get an "F"(on an A - F scale) from the BBB for having one bad complaint. Yes, I am one of the few on TW that has had an issue with T.O.D. but you can't just act like it is a single complaint just because the other people didn't complain here.

If the same 30+ people made their complaints on TW would you still do business with them? I am guessing you would.

My business with Toyota of Dallas goes back to 2003 when I bought my Matrix, and again in 2007 when I bought my Tacoma. I have dealt with their sales floor, garage as well as their body shop and even their Internet sales team many times in the 7 year span. Everything always came back to me with no issues. I pay repeat business to places that have treated me well. I can't be expected to stop patronizing any specific place based on others' bad experiences. I have a buddy who contracted food poisoning from Hooters a few years back. Have I ever stopped going? No. Why should I?

I mean none of this to stir the pot, I'm just voicing my opinion of a place that has treated me well for almost a decade.

I also mean none of this with any spite or ill-will. You approached me with an adult attitude, and I'd like to offer you the same courtesy.

So, your friend goes back to Hooter's and explains what happened. They apologize and give him a gift card. He decides to get dinner the next night and ... uh-oh, he starts getting sick again. He goes back up there a couple days later to explain and they give him another gift card and tell him we are really sorry, we had a run of bad chicken wings and we are going to get it cleared up asap, please come back tomorrow and everything will be cooked correctly. So he goes back up and orders the chicken wings and lo and behold he gets sick for the third time. After getting better he goes up to explain yet again and they tell him we are done with this, get the f*** out of our restaurant.

I know, not exactly the same but are you still gonna give them your business?

It all depends on morals and where your loyalty lies. In the above situation I Hope your loyalty would be to your friend and you would never eat at Hooter's again, if not then you have other issues that need to be addressed. In my situation your loyalty lies with tod which is understandable.

I see where you are coming from, just trying to get you to see my side a little clearer.

Me personally, My morals will not let me do business with someone that outright wrongs another person. If this were to happen to anyone else they would have my full support. Needless to say I have already started checking the BBB for companies I do business with.

Agreed. I have ordered oil filters and other accessories from them, all without issues.

I have followed both of 2003rc51's threads. What it did for me was put a
face on an otherwise faceless web site. If I had known how they treat
customers and their BBB rating, I would never have placed an order with them. Although I had no problem with the past order, I'm not going to push my luck.

If someone likes using a certain business, and has had good experiences with that business; who are we to tell them not to use that business. I am the same way; if I have good luck with a company, I don't change based on what other people say.

Too bad for the other guy.

    Well said.

OP, why would you post this in the first place? First of all, who cares? Secondly, it's like slapping 2003RC51 in the face about his situation.

I have bought from TOD before, but never again. People who treat others this way do not get my business.

Exactly...I've gone to trdparts4u multiple times trying to decide what accessories to buy. There are other sites to go to though and I'll just try to get another dealer to price match. The way they are treating some of the members in addition to the BBB rating only confirm that they won't be getting my business ever again.

Sorry to say it man - but you're a tool. Come on off the high horse ... no reason to start a new thread to prove you have no solidarity - we get it. I think TN is looking for new members.
