    Well, I went last night and picked up the Trek. It looks brand new... Now for the rain to stop so I can ride it........

    The one I bought was the model with disc brakes already on it and it's already had better pedals put on. The guy bought it, rode it once or twice and decided he liked fishing better...

    on a quick search I could not find one with the disc option, I feel you will be more happy with this bike over the other one

    Yea, I made a moron mistake...lol. It is a 4300 disc, not sure where I got 3900 from.....

    either way, nice choice, good component set, and you know the bike shop dude had it tuned nicely. enjoy the spring, just remember give the trails time to dry up

    Congrats on the bike! Seems like you found a great deal, and Trek is a very reputable name that backs their products very well. You should be able to enjoy and progress in mountain biking much more with a great frame to work with.

    sounds like you got a good deal.. their around if you look long enough.

    last year i picked up a GF tass for cheap.. year old and still like new. guy bought it and decided he liked road biking better.....

    Some of the best deals I've ever found were on bikesdirect.com. You get a lot of bike for the money. I assure you you will at least get an upgrade on components without paying more. My road bike is from there. It's a $3000 bike that I got for $1500. They have all price ranges. My next bike will be from there too.
