Thinking about doing something about my mud flaps... That white "4x4" logo on the rears is starting to annoy me.

Anyone paint it? If so, what did you use?

Guessing most peeps just replaced them with a different brand. I'd prefer something all black with no writing/markings on them if I go that route.

 

The grass is always greener... Some people on here want those little white 4x4 cause they don't have it, those who have it don't want it, I'd say post in the for sale/trade thread, someone will probably trade!

 

There's plenty of people selling flaps with and without the 4x4 on here at any given time. I'd just snag a set from one of them so it'll look better than painting them.

Remove them. Looks much cleaner IMO.

 

Sprung for some 2016 TRD OR suspension. Front coilovers and rear shocks and springs to put on soon. Super pumped for the cheap upgrade!

 

Traded the 265s in for some new 285 g2s.

 

Nice, one of the great things on TW is the availability of gently used shocks for upgrades.

 

My leafs are also creaking... Managed to isolate the noise to the forward bushing on the driver's side. Now I just need to figure out what I want to do about it because that TSB recall is no more (well, not that I can see at least).

Yessir! I would have been dreaming about 5100s for quite a while before I could get them. These will do exactly what I want for 1/4 $$$.
