Hello everyone, my name is Sebastian.... almost feels like an introduction at a recovery meeting, lol. (I Don't mean it in any offensive way!)

I'm contemplating about getting a Tacoma, and recently a TRD OR. Living within NYC city limits, most probably I will not see any off road action at all... at least not anywhere close to where I live (somebody please prove me wrong!! Pretty please)
I've been lurking the forums for a few months already, really like some of your rigs, especially after seeing about a 1000 pages of "What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?"
None the less, I still have a couple of months left on my lease, and then... I guess we'll see

Thanks. As much as I want one, I would like to avoid an extra payment, especially if a vehicle will be parked for the duration of it (I mean end of the lease). Unless I'll find a really good deal on something. :)

    Thank you.

    Welcome to TW!

BTW- I went to college right outside of NY and dated a girl that lived a block off Wall Street (went to NYU) while I was there, so needless to say I know The City pretty well, and I know it better than I know downtown Houston (where I've lived for 3 years now)...

I could hook you up with some pretty awesome fly fishing places- if you do that... Happy to help any way I can. Love my Taco (not my DD) as I have an '07 Accord I load with the daily miles. I know parking in The City can be as much- or more- than a car payment so I can understand not wanting 2 of them.

Taco is the "adventure mobile" and the Accord gets me around the city.

Thanks bud. Unfortunately I never got into fly fishing. Or any fishing fot that matter. Which is way too bad as I could have use it as a scheme to get away from chores and stuff.
Although, years ago I my brother to Crotona reservoirs, where he did fly fish away, lol.
As for parking, thank goodness not really an issue, my issue are extra payments, which I could use towards accessories.
All I have to do, is find a good enough deal, or wait a bit.... regardless, I hope to find some place or places, where my future Taco could flex a little

    @BastekFX

It's never too late to start! Looking on here, you'll find some super sick rigs. All we need is more $$$ right?!? I'm working on getting the tire gate, front bumper, and winch at the moment... Just need that $$$.

If you have an idea of what you'll be looking for- what year/gen and what package (TRD OR) you can start looking and see what you want and get the year/model/miles you want. I know I looked a LONG time for a 1st Gen Double Cab, TRD 4x4 with approx. 100K miles or less and I finally broke down and got an XTRA cab.

Just letting you know, that if you're picky it can take a while.

Yup, never too late to pick up fishing, just somehow it would be hard to squeeze that into the schedule, at least currently.

As for a vehicle, I'm already set on 3rd gen off road, just trying to justify tech package. My wife pushes me to get it, but she will not be the one driving it on daily basis. More importantly, she will not be the one paying for it. Lol
