Well good news I think... Took the truck in for 20k service today, they checked the u-bolts, tranny all good. Talked to them about the shifting being a little weird and they applied the fix for the transmission, noticed driving home that it didn't up shift as much as it has normally driving home. Had to fill the tank but that was really before the fix, so 18.2 mpg is what it averaged out to. While I was there working, ( have laptop will travel) the service advisor told another gentlemen that we half to keep your truck, he stated well how long. Well we don't have an answer for you, but we have a loaner you can drive until a fix is identified.. His rear axle was leaking...

 

Known recall issue, and hey, dude gets a loaner to drive like he stole it.

My mileage went up after getting my tranny reprogrammed, and it held 6th gear uphill on the highway.

How many Nebraska escapees we got in here now? Jesus, I disappear for a week or two and it's Big Red City all up in here!

I have in memory, Alamodome, TX fans left during the 3rd quarter. I've seen all but one game of them playing there and the was the year they crushed TX A&M for the big 12 championship.

 

Because Colorado tried so hard to make a rivalry with Nebraska (until CU remembered that they sucked), I'm just going to leave this here...

Both CU and NU aren't in the SouthWest conference because they can't compete with UT, hell, even those Aggie girls threw in the towel.

 

It's all good. I did 7 years hard time in Omaha (Belleview) at Offutt AFB. Saw more tornados than I could count.

Also, I could really care less about college football unless it's funny to make fun of someone who takes it way too seriously. We have a Seminole here who really needs to take it down to a 4. He's currently at an 11.

 

But in reality, the Horns got the curse of the Longhorn network. Be a while before they'll be back.
