I bought a hitch tightener originally but it didn't fit and I had to return it. Idk if it was my hitch, the step, or the particular tightener but it wouldn't stay in place. With it taped up it works great and is solid. I don't see a reason to do anything else to it. You cant even really tell it is taped unless you look super close at it.

The entire suspension set up is from Baja Kits.

I still get a little rubbing at full lock etc, but not bad at all. The has been a lot of cutting though to get here.

I believe I succeeded in totally annoying the UPS guy. He delivered my order from RCI Metalworks. http://www.rcimetalworks.com/main.sc . Seven very large and heavy packages containing my Taco's armor. Including front skid, tranny skid, diiferential skid, A-Arm skids, rear-end and gas tank guards and rock sliders. Surprisingly all that steel only dropped my lift a 1/4".

I have an off-road so it has pot metal skids on it, you remove them and replace them with this TRD one. Install was super easy, only six bolts.

I agree, the chinchilla cloths work great and are very soft. I bought a couple of them and that is all I use now.
