    I have a 2002 double cab 2.7l prerunner and I'm wanting to make some changes. I'm thinking a 2.5" rough country lift (yes I'm aware there not highly recommended but I'm on a budget) and 18x9 fuel mavericks with 275/65/18 Toyo open country. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :thumbsup:

    Look around in the tires or suspention subforum, I bet someone is running a similar setup.

    A lot of people are running 285's on. ~2.5" lift and end up with spacers, fendering trimming, or some combo of both. If it helps, I run 265/75 with stock rims with my 5100s in the middle, and get a tiny bit of rub on the frame at full lock. At 2.5", mine would easily clear.

    I hope you plan to regear that 2.7 with those tires, though...

    The tires will definitely clear height-wise. The rest will depend on the backspacing/offset.

    I can count on 1 hand how many 1st gen, doublecab, trdor, 3rz, pre runners are on this site. You sir have a very special truck.
