I agree, it was good. Very technical, but not too difficult. You're going to enjoy the stuff way more with some armor man! The front 3 (me, jeff, and dave) were able to roll through no spotting except that very first drop off. Other trucks obviously could've done it with no spotting too but we were already back out of the trucks lol. I would do miles and miles of those kind of trails if I can find them.

Be interesting to see but a little expensive for the size. Tempui, cvt, and 23zero all have offerings in the 56" wide size for 15-1600. 23zero's comes with an annex. I'm shooting for cvt or 23zero. Tempui's frame is 5/8" while the others are an inch thick. Ask me what I do with my spare time.

My CVT Summit series (the fancier version) was more than 1800 and it's that size. The Pioneer CVT is the one you're thinking of.

btw I HIGHLY recommend the Summit series if you go CVT, it's worth the extra money. Bill's pioneer version (granted it's one of the first they made) actually had the frame bend some during the wind storm out in Moab.

Yeah but at least they have the cheaper versions in the same size. I'd pay the premium price for a established company/tent. I'd just be a little leary to do it with CaliRaised. Don't get me wrong I like the company and they were great to deal with so this is in no way a bashing of their company.

Oh no I totally get you! I was awfully curious about and LED company making a tent. I love their lights and will be buying more from them, was in no way saying buy the tent though...not till it's proven.

Are all their frames 1"? Guess I haven't researched enough.

I got you. I wasn't hammering you and thanks for the heads up. I have a feeling we're going to be seeing a lot more of these. Found an old resurrected group buy about a guy trying to find a Chinese manufacturer (probably where all of these are made) to get some rtt's shipped over

Its just not big enough. Not when you can get the Rainier standard for the same price.

I'm not opposed to the market growing on them, that'll bring prices down.

It comes with the annex right? Look at the mid level 23zero. It's like 62" wide w/ annex for 1795. And HUGE skylights

I've come to the realization that I'll be in the annex or in a hammock. Just can't find an annex thar has a beer tap. Yet.

I can say, the annex is more hassle to setup than it's worth. Absolutely none of us had "success" with our annexes at Moab.
