Gave her a full exterior cleaning with a coat of wax. Snapped this photo this morning showing off the led low beams/fogs.

Any improvement by lowering it would be negated by the larger diameter wheels/tires.

Interesting if not abusive use but sounds like the fun factor makes up for it. Guys like you bought the Tacoma to really use as intended.

I just had my front two side windows tinted to match the rear in my 2016 TRD double cab at Arkham detailers in New Milford ct. The owner is a humble dedicated and profoundly expert young detailer. It's his life's passion. Quite a guy. He teaches his methods around the country and was awarded detailer of the year.

He showed me one vehicle he just completed doing a full maximum detail on which included interior protection, wheel coating and the ceramic paint coating

Let me tell you that ceramic paint coating done by him made the paint look like wet liquid gloss. The vehicle looked like it was moving just standing still

The two window tints were $80

I asked how much for the same ceramic job on my Tacoma. He said $1400. Seven year protection and warranty. ( however he did mention he does not do body repair and paint. He can only maximize what you bring him. Chipped missing paint won't get any benefits
I am trying to convince myself to go for it but I'm hoping for one last new vehicle in three years or less: duplicate of my black TRD sport 4x4 with six speed manual shift and tow kit so I'll probably save the ceramic for the next Tacoma.
I don't know how much ceramic can remedy your scratched clear coat but look up ARKHAM online and call. He's a wizard and as I said he teaches his methods and equipment used country wide and may have one by you. Or it may be worth a nice ride here for vacation. It's only less than two hours to manhattan.

"Trail pinstriping" is easily fixed. I got a ton of it with one big scratch all the way down my cab the last time I went wheeling. 15 minutes with a dual action buffer, microfiber pad and Menzerna FG400 took care of it. As long as the branches are just brushing up against your paint the clear coat is fine.

Ceramic coating wont fixed scratch clear coat. It will just go on top. You will need to buff out the scratches and do a paint correction before you put the ceramic on top. Then, it will basically provide another layer of clear coat on top of the existing one.

Looks like you didn't spray a heavy of enough coating on the clear. Maybe a polishing wheel should do you good, but the darkness turned out nice

How far above the bed do they sit? I looked on their site and couldn't see the info.

No tags on the bed, air dam.
I got the Thule xk4 brackets to hold down these Yakima overland racks I found on CL.

Thanks. I used a full can of Smoke Plasti-dip and just a bit (2 coats) of the Glossy Clear Coat Plasti-dip.

Yeah, I did not want to go too heavy to the point where the lights don't show as well, but just dark enough to get rid of the bright red. Not sure if I can use a polishing wheel on Plasti Dip, but I may put on a few more coats of the Glossy Clear Coat. Thanks!

Looks nice, but why the false badge? Especially when you already have a nice limited?
