nitto terra psi???

I got 185/70/17 terra grapplers wondering whats the best psi for tire wear and ride quality.
Trying to start the easy way and work my way up my 3" lift has been on almost a year and lately it is riding like complete crap trying to narrow what it is down.

I had 45psi in my 285/70/17 NTG's. They wore perfectly.

 

is there a chalck method writeup never heard of that one?

yes 45 all around. Tire shop told me to run 55 due to them being E rated tires, that was too much. 45 was still a little of a rough ride but the wear was right.

 

ok ill check that out right now im at 30 on all four will my ride be worste if i go up on psi?

 

so u just use a chalk line like u would with carpentry work? how far should i have to drive to check it?

I"ve had between 30-45 in my tires for the last two years. I've noticed my truck has been riding kinda rough since I aired them to 45, I guess I'll be backing off to about 35

 

I run 32PSI in my new Toyo Open Country AT's (265/75/16) I feel that it runs a lot smoother. 40 PSI rides rough, you want better ride and traction.
