Do it! Seriously, it was worth the time it took when my buddy did mine... need to have the Land Cruiser done now.

Haha, she's been a real joy to drive. The PO had never even shifted into Low range so I had to fix the center differential locker, the 4 low engagement switch. Finally got it to realize that it is in low range and got the center diff actuator moving. The front locker works too, now I just need to verify if the rear locker is stuck or if the successful lock switch is just gummy.

We traded work haha. He detailed the rig and I tucked the wiring harness on his 300ZX Turbo drag car.

CBI ditch brackets, modified the drivers side one like @TacoVio so I could have my CB antenna on there too.

No cutting at all from what I remember, just trimmed the cowl cover a slight bit, but no biggie there.

Oh, I think all I had to do was cut at a 45 degree angle across the last two "fins" its all pretty hidden once the brackets are on.

Does anyone know if these rubber grommets are known to leak? I've been looking everywhere for where it could possibly be leaking and this grommet seems to be the only probable area. Behind the seat is dry as a bone and up near the pedals and around the door is all dry with no indication that water is coming in there. So I'm thinking it's either this grommet or the one above the body mount. I'm thinking I can just put some rtv or silicone around them and be done with it, I don't even really know the purpose of this one in the middle...

Mine was leaking around that area, and it turned out to be coming in the gromit on the firewall that the wire looms come through. Little bit of silicone sealant and all was well again.

Tried out my new 285s, found some rub in the back on the flares but the front was surprisingly rub-free!

Color matched sliders, can say I've never seen that on a first gen. Also nice rims, as I can only say that for a few more weeks
