Really? She said my truck is "cute"

Mine too got called cute. Right in the feels man. Oh well.

 

The girls I know call my truck things like 'massive' and 'huge' but it's really not that large. Park it next to a four-door F350 and it looks pretty small.

It's not like it's that impressive anymore, either, though. A Camry V6 is putting out 270 now, for god's sake.

And Impreza's are a cute little car. To somebody who isn't a car enthusiast the Imp and the Rex look the same.

 

My 8 y/o daughter and I watched the movie 'Monster Trucks' together and a week later I bought my Taco. She was ecstatic to say the least. She calls it Creech.

 

There's nothing cute about a 2nd gen

While my truck hasn't been referenced as cute, reading your post associates with my personal favorite of late, "You're so sweet" or "That's sweet." Hearing either bothers me.

Context: I am 55 yo man, recently divorced who's attempts at 'getting back into the dating scene' have been ended by "sweet" remarks.

I'll get there, but hearing "sweet" grinds my ass.

Nothing "cute" about either, in my mind.

(Wah wah wah wah wah wah -- LOL)

 

Even more cute when someone get's a little upset by such comments.

Usually they get jealous and call her a bitch. Then they become single within the next week lol.

 

Mine has been called "hot," "badass," and "mean looking." I honestly think it's because it's blacked out. I don't have many other mods yet (wheels and tires, which ARE an improvement). SSO Slimline bumper is on the way though. Y'all need to get in on that group buy.

I had a 2010 Tundra that was 4x2 but looked pretty tough. Nothing major but our family friends and kids would call her the Beast. I just got my 2017 4x4 TRD Off-Road Tacoma that I blacked out. I thought she was looking good. Wife's friend says, "Oh, I saw your new truck parked out front, it's cute." WTF!!?? It still haunts me. It's not cute, it's freaking awesome and tough and....whatever it is, it's not cute!!
