My Plan, I would like your input

2010 trd sport access cab 5100 set to 0 eibach 1.6 springs leaf spring tsb spidertrax 1.2 265/70/17 firestone dest. at on the 17" trd sport wheel. So what do the great minds of tacoma world think? any problems , or any thing else you can think of? The truck is my daily driver ,and i like to drive fast, so reducing body roll is my goal. I hope to start gathering parts soooon THANK YOU !!!!! FOR ALL YOUR HELP GERARD

 

If you are running 265's I don't see a need for the spidertrax wheel spacers. I have the Eibach springs and the Firestone destinations AT's and I am very happy with both.

FWIW, I have the Toytec coilovers, AAL, and 5100s. These have the 600lb Eibach springs. The Eibachs that don't come with the coilovers are 620lbs I believe. The springs are stiffer than stock and I have less body lean than I did before. Thats all offset by the higher ride height and I don't feel like I can whip around a corner any faster. The spacers would push the wheels out a bit but I doubt you'd notice it much on the road. Its going to be a tradeoff & lifted trucks aren't conducive to slalom runs.

I've got a set of Firestone Destination A/Ts in my storage unit on TRD FJ rims. Mine are 265/75/16 (same overall diameter as the 265/70/17s you're thinking about).

After I put my lift on, there was less than 1" of space between my stock tires/rims and the spindle. The FJ Rims have 4.5" backspacing so I should have more room since the new tires are the same width as the stock ones, just taller. You'd probably have to have the spacers if you went with a fatter tire on the stock rims.

 

Leave it stock height and buy a supercharger!!!!

 

yeah if you want to go fast... but i dont think lifting a truck will reduce body roll.....buuuuttt maybe you adding those spacers will-no- scratch that, lifting is bad for body roll
