Holy shit that's cheap! I'd be changing that frequently too if oil was that cheap.

Boss buys it in bulk. It's delivered by truck and pumped into a large tank we have with a dispenser.

Yup. My leaf springs got done under recall. The blower motor resistor I got to do myself because I'm out of warranty and Toyota won't cover the cost of the tsb

Hey What's Up Fellow Marylanders (and non-Marylanders). Just joined the forum and @AR15xAR10 invited me over. Said I would pop over and sub to this thread. Cool, nice to know so many of the trucks I see near me might be members here.

I had a 14' 4Runner Trail (MGM) and just picked up this 17' TRD Sport LB in Inferno. Love the truck. This makes my 4th truck since 2000. I'm still amazed how long the truck is overall. about 3.5 feet longer than the 4R. Seems like someone forgot to tell Toyota this is a mid size.

Anyway, already started my mods with a simple, cheap addition.......

    Tacos.jpg

I'm waiting for the Bak Revolver X2 to be delivered. Tint (Nick at APlus in Forest Hill) will be done July 8th, and then before winter I need to lose the stock Toyo Open Country's and get some real snow tires (even though we've been luck lately, knock on wood). I had Duratrac's on the 4R but they wore weird towards the end so I am also looking at the Nitto Ridge Grappler or Pro Comp A/T Sport. I've run a bunch of different tires in Maryland over the years and for me and my style of driving, where I drive, the Duratracs were the best yet in the winter.

So I'll be looking through this entire thread to see what I've missed. I know I've probably seen some of you up near me. Definitely some nice Tacos up in Hazard County.

Thanks @AR15xAR10 for the invite. Oh, does the site or the Maryland thread offer/sell Tacoma World window stickers? Would be nice.
    Rob

Decided to move my cb back to the ashtray location for easier channel surfing but don't like the way it sticks out but I guess I'll get used to it also found a random wire with a inline fuse just jammed into the fuse box with a plug that's similar to trailer light hook up so I'm guessing it was for a brake controller

Le Sigh. Yes, I can, and did, have my rear leaf springs replaced under the recall campaign. There are two Tsb's (NOT RECALLS) available for my truck, one about an ECU reflash, and one for a blower motor resistor going out. Id have to dig to do find the numbers, my dealership asked me if I wanted them to do them while the truck was in for the leaf springs. Toyota Was required to do the leaf springs as it was a safety recall. The Technical Service Bulletins, are not considered safety issues by the NTSB and as such Toyota is not legally required to do them for free. This is what is as told by my only local dealer.

Also, I'm not trying to be mean, but I've got a 10 year old truck. Toyota most gonna do shit unless they are legally obligated too.

If that's the case, why does it say on the TSB that it falls under the warranty? Legitimate question here. Shows on here in the red box.
