What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Just heard back from the dealer... Transmission mount was replaced and reduced the vibration, but it's still there... Keeping her another day to observe and report

New shifter arrived. Color doesn't match soo we'll see what we do...


Old one was on the way out.

 

That is totally false. You get no boost in HP and no improvement to mpg.
At worst what you get is a HOT air intake sucking from inside the engine compartment and at best it makes it "throatier" sounding.

Ask me how I know...

 

The Tacoma oem air intake is the best option for hp/fuel economy

 

My HOA would not approve

On topic: installed a trailer hitch (Curt) this morning... real simple and had an extra set of hands to help... a third we would've been nicer but we got by using a floor jack to help with the lifting and positioning.

I also put a GoPro mount for my Hero 3 on today.

Its a 3M flat piece that sticks on, and the actual mount and arm clips onto that.

So there is minimal evidence of the mod when the camera isn't up. (It's behind the mirror and I can't even see it)
