When we lived if Africa the house behind us was and Indian doc and his wife, we got some great recipes from them, it helps to be a pepper head though.

There is an Indian place in Herndon you can try, I thought it was pretty good. Same shopping center as Euro Bistro and Duck Donuts.

 

My favorite is a curry meatball dish. I've since modified it to include more garlic (one clove per meatball) and hotter.

I used to have a running competition with the head chef at an Indian joint to serve me something too spicy to eat. I won.

Until I played that game with a Thai chef. He won on the first round. Being hit with pepper spay was.leas painful.

 

for me,
Thai spicy > indian spicy

 

Thai is way hotter. To the point of pain, and no flavor.

 

No just be more responsible but I guess it was hard to see the sarcasm...

 

I'm doing a day trip up there on the 24th. @Arcticelf is all over the place over the next few weeks, between the two of us we could probably make something work if something doesn't come up sooner.
