I think with mine I just had little thin strips of that that were supposed to just wrap around the edge of the hood to protect the paint from getting rubbed I guess

That's exactly what this one had. I'd just keep an eye on it if I were you.

Shit I can't see it with the bug deflector on it. Maybe I'll take it off and check it

Might be worth it. If you've got it off it would be a good idea to throw some wax on there too! It was rough under there.

@ChadsPride this was supposed to say jump into the conversation as an invitation but as usual I fat fingered it fixed now

Took my back rack and bed rail caps off to paint them. Decided to paint them in Dupli-Color Bed Armour because I'd used it before in other applications with good results. Set up my own little paint studio in the street with some construction pylons I borrowed from work. Still need to paint a couple other items but will probably wait for all the over spray to wear off the asphalt in the street before I make more of a mess!

Derped my badges yesterday. I love how much this cheap and simple mod cleans up the look of the truck.

Good job getting the street oversprayed, and not your own property.

I mean the city's been cheaping out using non-durable pavement marking all over my neck of the woods recently - thought I'd help them out a bit!

You must be a joy to live next to. How hard is it to find a piece of cardboard.

It's an easy-going community and all the neighbors are friends - none of them care and one of them have even texted me saying they like the new "street art". Plus the road is semi-granular on the edges so the paint wears away after a couple weeks - no real harm!

Any recommendations for fixing paint chips? I know the Superwhite paint is clear and paint mixed for multiple coats, instead of paint then clear.

Should I get a pen from the dealer?
