Any 5.9 is good. You might have to do some things to make it right, but its worth it. Best one is 2001ish through 2005. 2006 was a smog tune, but you could throw the right tuner in it and change the timing (smarty).Remember, Mercedes Benz owned Dodge during those years. Also Remember, Cummins isn't Dodge. Cummins has a tad bit of experience building diesels. In fact.

Good evening folks. Just caught up from last night. Still swamped at work. I have a few days to make a dirt platform/bench next to one of the local fishing areas. The area burned a few weeks ago so the biologist wants to get a handle on it before the invasive plants take it back over. It's right on the water's edge so the invasives are already sprouting.

I actually looked into the company that converts Tacoma's to diesel but 15 is a little steep and be with out the truck for however long so I have to buy another vehicle most likely for a few months . If I was to live out west / more mountainous terrain yeah the Tacoma would be a daily driver but not used for camping I would buy something else for that . I do want one of the old 80s mil diesels as a beater truck several sites I have looked at show how to make them reliable not power houses but reliable. Change the gears to 3.73 get away from the umm 4.56 I think so it will do at least 80 and still have decent torque and a I don't care paint job,(spray bomb) and front and rear bumpers from heavy steel yep screw it drive it where ever .. Lol Sorry mister BMW , Mercedes , Lexus want to cut me off go ahead your going to need a body shop lol

I found the shells in the cabinet ... trying to use stuff off the shelves and outta my meat freezer while my wife is deployed to PHX.

I could get better from Taco Loco locally ... she usually buys their tortillas ... :notsure:

@MQQSE and @CVYota @Martin64 If you ask @Kolunatic he could tell you his recipe he makes his own . He gave me hell about my store bought ones but I have an electric stove not gas so a cast iron tortilla maker isn't really going to make it in my kitchen quite yet.

They're good if you have time. Time is short it seems lately. But if you look around the flour area get masa herina? Think I spelled that right. Just corn flour and water. You can bake or fry.
Now I found handmade yellow or white corn in tortilla area. Muey bueno.:D

I think you can do the Cummins for less.
And with the Cummins it will be easier to source parts and repair (any local cummins shop)
AND, the Cummins is a new or remaned motor, not a "low mileage"(used) motor.

Well, Im not Canadian, but I do like a little Mayo mixed in with my Ketchup for my fries.
    And another thing.
I came to the realization today, there is nothing a sane person would use ketchup on that you couldn't use BBQ sauce on instead. So there really is no reason to keep ketchup around other than to be able to spot the insane people. @Casper66

I dunno, when you start talking buying a new vehicle, or even a used one, so you can have a diesel, it kinda starts making more sense.
Me? Id do it just because diesel, but thats me.

Hey I have a 4k 27" NEC Pro on a swing arm stand next to my recliner and have the resolution set to... Erh never mind.

Too tired to catch up but will try tomorrow. Feel like I am missing something if I don't.

Spent all night working on getting ready for the new dog to come home. PTO starts at 1200 and drive 700 miles round trip so long day. But lot shorter than driving to Texas and back so not complaining.

Things are packed and house is not totally "puppy proof" but close. Even cleaned the truck out, vacuumed, black iced and cleaned for the first time in a long time. Greg you would not be proud but I am LOL.

2.5 year old boy has figured something is up. He is going tomorrow also of course. He hasn't been far from me all night and the more I do the closer he gets.

Both of our worlds are going to change very quickly.
