So today I noticed that my truck bed wasn't squared. I've attached a picture, not sure if you guys can tell or not. I'm OCD so it kind of bothers me. Can anyone help me figure out what's the problem? Is this something I can do myself or better off going to the dealership or a body shop?

I measured both rear from the bed to the tires and the left side is around 8.25 inches and the right side is around 8.75 inches. It does have a 3 inch lift (Toytec Boss) and it's sitting on 275/55/R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers (I purchased the truck with the lift and tires on it).

    Thanks guys.

It's higher on the passenger side? Looks like the passenger side is lower in the pics. Maybe it's just the angle of the picture. I've heard of taco lean anywhere from 0 to 1" so yes could be.

Mine had a lean when my middle leaf broke on my old leaf pack. I'm not sure if that recall applied to your year or not, but that's something to look at.

Rear passenger corner of the bed looks like it's drooping. Also, is the bumper bent down?

My bed was skewed from the factory, some washers solved it.

Yes it's drooping towards the right side but the right side is actually higher.

You're correct, it is drooping. That's what I was talking about. Also the bumper isn't bent, just needs to be realigned which I have to figure out how to soon.

Yours look similar to mine, just the opposite direction. Did you do it yourself or let someone/shop do it? How much and can you provide as much details as you can?

The dealer did it at 3k miles. It wasn't ideal as it was just a cosmetic fix but I wanted it done quick as I was adding a shell and wanted the bed even before I did. They added I think 2 thick fender washers to one of the bed mounting points, the ones the big torx bed bolt go to.

P.s. the accepted way to measure lift height / difference is from center of hub to bottom of fender flare. This will give a better idea of th actual discrepancy.

Sounds like it's not taco lean. Usually taco lean is addressed with a small spacer on the front driver side coilover

That doesn't look like Taco Lean to me. When I look at the front edge of the bed compared to the rear, they're not parallel. It looks like the whole bed is twisted; there's more mudflap showing on the driver's side too. As I understand it, Taco Lean is always towards the driver's side as that is the side with the battery and fuel tank and the driver; yours is "leaning" to the right. Granted, it could just be the angle of the photo. Just my two cents. I hope the frame isn't twisted. How long have you had the truck? Did you buy it used?

I've had the truck for 2 or 3 weeks now. Everything is perfect. It drives straight, smooth, nothing weird. This is literally the only problem. The truck has been in an accident before. It was reared ended. Maybe it had knocked the bed out of line? I've checked under the truck and the frame looks straight .

Ignore the rear bumper, it has to be re aligned that's why it looks a little funky.

The bed looks like it's on there right and straight, I think it may have to do with something on the rear right corner since it seems like that is the part that is leaning?

Should I take it to a shop/Toyota dealer?
