Where do you wire up some bed LED strips so they turn on when you turn on your exterior Cargo light? I want to mount some LED strips in my bed to only come on when I manually turn on my exterior cargo light??? thanks.

Just mounted some LED lights for rear and inset some in the front bumper. I did my front grill and added the reflective TACOMA letters for the tailgate too. Getting ready to add two ditch lights on the hood, I had the brackets made from the sheet metal shop my company owns, they are gonna be stainless steel and I'll paint them in black. I wired the exterior lights to a separate DPDT illuminated marine grade rocker switch (20A at 12vdc) in my front panel. Easy to install and they work great. Got a tailgate 49" LED strip that I'm gonna mount on the tailgate and wire it into my trailer harness. It lights up with parking lights, White for reverse and does both turn signals to. HOOKED on lighting now. I also change my dome light and reading lights to LED super Bright, love them. Got my vanity bulbs coming soon. Nest might be the headlights and rear lights. The rocker switch I got on eBay for $10, and it's rated at 20a at 12vdc so I didn't need any relays and I just replaced where the Tacoma Security switch went.
For cost I got these off of WISH.com and will save hundreds of $ for the same lights.

More lights and pics to follow.

I also bought a bluetooth OCBII transmitter ($6) from WISH and use the Torque app for an android phone and it gives a ton of info to use for towing info.

Thank you sir. I sent them back and got the refund already. They were very nice about it and helpful (Headlight Experts). The brightness was incredible, however no matter what I did (up/down) (left/right) the "reach" was no where near OEM H9. Secondly one of the bulbs adjustment was rather lose and was concerned that it would eventually shift off axis. Thanks for the reply. BTW which model did you install. The pics you provided (thank you) show a very respectable hi-beam, the ones I tried had no where near that reach. Finally, I agree with the fogs, incredible! They throw almost as much as the OEM lo-beams. Very satisfied with them......very.

One other quick note, I modified a set of Halogen H9 Philips to fit in lo-beam H11 housing. The results are very good, not earth shattering, but much better than 55W H11s. The main reason I did that was to have a set of working lights. I'm not very comfortable with LEDs in all the locations since I've heard far too much regarding early failures so if all else fails I'll still be able to get home with some lights. Paranoid? Maybe.

That's good they were able to take them back, yea the GTR3 Gen 3s instructions said left to right, but for the hell of it I tried up and down to see the difference "BIG difference" almost useless. I installed all 35w H11 bulbs from the GTR3 Gen 3 kits. The fogs are the new Toyota H16 but there is no difference in how they fit in the housing lock, only difference from the H16 and H11 from what I've seen is the length of the bulb. Another reason I chose that kit is because the bulb itself has reflective around the LEDs may not actually do anything better but it gives me reassurance that I'm not wasting the LEDs exposure. I still have the original set incase I need to replace one of the LEDs down the road. I will say the connectors had a little play they still worked but I felt like the everyday driving would knock them loose so I just added a little self adhesive heat wrap for a secure connection. Easy removal if I need to replace, but all in all they've been good to me. Yea the fogs make big difference when added with the lows. I don't run all the time but they come in handy during the rain or a dark road.

I've managed to read through all 23 pages and I'm wondering with everyone saying that the light throw is horrible did you try to re-orient the bulbs in the headlight? I saw a video from headlight revolution that showed how scattered the lighting is when it was oriented the wrong way.

Let me look in my history

Here's the link at the point where he talks about orientation of the bulb at the 7:00 min mark

Haven't looked at this thread in a while, I think they were opt7 h11.i don't remember the fitment size but that's to easy to google. The fogs are the same as the head lights. The highs I think are smaller. LED is the wave of the future. I have my opinion about the other high dollar stuff guys get. Can't go wrong with these. Many of off-road miles and still now issues. I think I laid 150ish for the fogs and headlights. I wanna say 3500 lumins and 5k for the brightness and color.

That's awesome. Are the fogs yellow or is it laminex? Also was it around 150 for both low beams and dogs or 150 per set? I've heard people with the opt7 complaining about the sound of the heat sink fans, what do you think? Does anyone flash their lights at you when you pass because you have H11 in your fogs without a projector lens to focus the light?

It's laminex. I pulled it off. It either doesn't form well to the curve of the lens or I didn't get it on properly.

I don't care about the fans. I only hear them for 2.5 seconds at a time and not issues with off-roading and mud. They ran right at 160 for both pairs off Amazon.

How was the the low beam install? Any issues with blinding people, particular with the fogs?
