    Anyone got suggestions as to why my mechanic at work can't get the OME springs on my bilsteins?

    he said they're too narrow and anytime he gets to a certain point it slips to one side

    Weird. Tons of people run Billies with OME springs. Keep in mind that you need to put the clip in the stock setting. Do not attempt to run those coils with the shock set at any lift amount.

    fucking duh....because the coils are the 2.5" of lift thats why it's doing that I told him i got em for 2.5" of lift and the clips are probably on the top rung. thank you kindly sir

    Everything TW members recommend
    Yup. OME coils have the extra length for the lift you want, depending on what coil spring (884, 885, 886, 887 etc.) Which is why you want to set the clip at the "0" setting.
    You can use the clips to gain lift if you are using the factory coils. that's how Bilstien engineered them.

    As of now I'm on 285/75r16 full armor as well. I don't get too concerned I just try to take my time and winch if I have to. Haha
