Yeah, my next round of purchasing for the truck has to wait until next month.

Need to maintain my cushion in my savings.

I'm trying to space out my purchases and piece together the lift kit, distribute the wallet hit.

What i really need to do is stop buying the small stuff for awhile, but then there was the ditch light group buy, the discount at mobtown, etc.

So I'm in the Stealership and the Service Writer just told me tire rubbing on frame will fail state inspection. Anyone else heard or know of this?

yup that happens. Also if tires rub on body. I found that out. Then I went to a sketchy place, and they passed me.

Hey, we actually scrapped the trip. I'm going wheeling on the 17th with @Blackout14 though. This Saturday I'm meeting up with @fatfurious2 to do some mods (diff breather, remove swaybar, ac drain reroute) in the afternoon!

I figured some rubbing at full lock would be ok but she informed me that any rubbing at all in the full movement. Interesting info, so if I go up in tire size I will definitely need CMC

By the way, comments on removing front swaybar? I got OME 886 or whatever the stiffer springs are. I heard it's legal in some states and illegal in others, so if I get stopped I'll just pull the military card.

That's not exactly something a cop will be able to spot while you are driving. You should be ok. Just don't drive like a madman.

ive had mine removed for a year. No issues with cops. I also dont have a front license plate. I would think the state safety inspector would have more of an issue than a cop.

Nice. You guys feel any difference wheeling without the swaybar?

No, not anymore. I want to get all the maintenance done on my truck (change oil, diff oil, transfer case oil, tranny fluid, grease shit, etc) before I go start beating on it. We haven't been able to work out a new date yet.

You will barely feel it at first, then promptly forget about it a week later.

Never had them for the front although I bet they are beneficial. For the rear to me they are a must. I go up two clicks in compression whenever I go off road vs full open for on road. Im always playing with them depending on my weight in the rear as it can fluctuate depending on what I am doing as well. If I wasn't considering bypasses I would of gotten clickers for the front, but I also value suspension as the most critical item besides armor on my truck so take it for what its worth.
