I did 3 coats, so it did take a hair longer that 20min

They used to be filled to the top with grain before we moved in. We cut holes in the sides and a cement driveway through it and use them as storage. They used to have a "live floor" meaning there was an auger underneath that would carry the grain underground to the basement of the main building. Really cool..and old.

Heres a pic from the outside. We used to have 3 of them but we had the side of one of our concrete silos blow out and 3 million lbs of sand crushed one. They are made of 1/2 in steel. The one in the back ground is full of sand.

 

The pinch weld would only get scraped up for me. Repainting sucks

If that sucker gets scraped you going to have bigger problems than repainting lol
