To top it off I weighed about 255 then guy riding with me was about 275.

 

oh well then yes that would be fun lol. In my younger dumber years I did 155 with a guy going from Austin to Georgetown on 35. Told him to slow down but he was driving and I was not about to try and physically get him to stop when we were going that fast.

After Barnwell and realizing I've been reading HF's trail maps wrong this whole time, I have no idea how to gauge the difficulty of a trail. I liked the 2's at BMRA -- casual, with some small tech challenges scattered about. But that seems to describe HF's 3s and even 4s. In any case, I'm still riding stock suspension/tires and I don't view armor as an excuse to beat up my truck. It still has to get me to work and home again every day. So if people want to do some crazy shit I'll happily sit back and watch But I'll likely stick to 2's and 3's.

 

I'll stuck with you at HF with your mentality. I need my truck to transport me to keep me gainfully employed.

This AF. I think based on name alone I thought Green Horn was a 2. Map says it's a 4, to which I say hell no. No way that's a 4. With the exception of a couple spots, only because they get torn up so the approach/departure angles are ridiculous unless you have a custom/no bumper. The creek bed can be tricky but I did that completely stock and only took one bump on my stock skid.

Said it before... single biggest complaint against HF is lack of maintenance. Well, that and shit for marking trails.

Fastest I've done was 120 in my old VW VR6... on a straight in the middle of bumfuck nowhere Colorado. No way I'd do that in my taco, especially on a turn.

Never in my taco either don't think it would go past 95 but there was a control tower an was on a more than 2 mile stretch of road.
