    Got the slider off the truck and I'll have to drill a 1" hole since that rivet is about 3/4" in diameter. Gonna cut into that other hole but oh well

    Y'all think I should just cut the corner off? I felt like it would be too much metal to accomodate for one small rivet but that would be a lot easier than drilling

    It's not hard, I had to do it to mine. Harbor Freight has a step bit that goes pretty large.

    Took me about the same time with my 18v craftsman drill. Really just personal preference.

    Dude..... could you measure it and tell me where you centered that hole? That would make me a lot less worried about drilling. I know I could use the scuff marks but I'd like to know what worked for someone for sure lol

    I'll take a look, not home til next week to measure. My 2006 was an oddity that didn't get accounted for with this rivet.. Don't even know exactly which one It was.
