I'm in the market for one later this year but don't want it built very much if at all. But damn these things are still expensive. 165k miles on one and they still want around $16-18k for it....

What exactly do you do with 690 wheel HP?

I can't even have that much fun in my stock WRX before I'm going way too fast.

Lot cheaper out your way. Like tacomas, they demand a premium out here. Took me a while to find mine.

04 STI is the "rare" one. The BBS wheels were 5x100, before they switched to 5x114 bolt pattern. Maybe they were fast too. I had a WRX wagon. Bought for 8500, drove for 6 months and sold for 8500

Oh I know that's why if I do get one I'm getting it prior to moving. Literally want to sell just about everything except the truck and hopefully the subi and then move out there. But time will tell

Ah that makes sense, didn't look at it much since I saw "built" and $24k haha. I don't want power I just want something that has decent acceleration and looks good. AKA Subaru WRX ha

MR had trans issues? Maybe that's why it wasn't as popular. Unless people just didn't want it he 6 speed.

fuck subaru. Or at least the fucking dumb bitches that drive them.
Some bitch in a subaru yesterday, merging onto I-25 thought it would be best to slow down to 40 as she entered the lane, on an uphill merge lane no less.
The dumb bitch started out pretty good, she was over 55mph as she started down the on ramp, then decided to slow down, you know, for "safety"... I really have no idea wtf was going through the empty space between her ears.

So, a trucker in the right lane, at speed, is flashing his lights, seeing that the dumb bitch is about to enter his lane at less than ideal interstate speeds. Apparently the bitch has no concept of what it takes to stop 40 tons of rolling steel...
I end up on the shoulder, not wanting to cushion the impact of the semi from the subaru.
Semi driver avoided hitting her, much to my disappointment.
All the bitch had to do was drive that piece of fucking shit like she meant it. Who the fuck merges on an interstate at 35 mph when somebody is gonna shoot up your ass at 75?

So, after I passed her, horn in operation and giving the one finger salute, she suddenly found the gas pedal and proceeded to tailgate me back to FoCo. Fucking Bitch.

some people, who are obviously all about saving the environment, should take the fucking bus if they are going to be a hazard on the road.
