I have a Tepui Kukenam Sky and have:
The 2.5 inch mattress it comes with, another 2.5 foam mattress and the Northface Double Dolomite Sleeping bag for now and the tent closes just fine. Going to try two pillows next week, I'll let you know then.

Went surfing today and put the tent up on the truck. I was relieved that the two paddle boards still fit with the tent on! So I can take my boards to the mountains!

I got my freespirit RTT a few months ago. Been camping 4 times with it and I have to say, it's a game changer. My lady loves being up off the ground and the stargazer roof is awesome to stare at the stars while falling asleep.
Freespirit has great customer service also:oldglory:

nice shoe position as you step up the ladder. I got my RTT a couple of years ago. It was the wife's idea. Last year was a lot of trips up through BC, mostly Vancouver Island. This year will be south. On the 18th, We are covering most of California from the Oregon border down the West Coast and up through the east into Nevada.

I don't recall the dimensions of my tent (or care to look them up), but I got a king size memory foam that matches the width. It doesn't cover the bottom foot or two but my ankles don't mind

Went on a 4 day camping trip. On the last morning broke my zipper on my RTT cover. Went down to CVT and they hooked me up with a new lower part at no charge. Just wanted to share a great experience.

I think we have the same tent, but I have no idea how to open the star gazer part. I see the screen/window from the inside, but dont know where to access it from the outside.

maybe I dont have that one. Do I need to unclip the roof part and roll it up, and take the metal out?

Or maybe I just have a roof screen/vent with zippers

Oh I see what you're saying; the rain fly is in the way. Yes, you'll need to take the rain fly off you access. I always leave mine off unless there's a chance of heavy rain.

Thanks! its pretty wet most of the time here on the east coast. This summer might be less. But there is usually always some dew.

Anyone have a CVT Mt. Rainier or similar size tent that bought a mattress topper? I'm thiking I may have to get two Full size toppers to fit the footprint of the tent. Thoughts?
