Went the canback route. Doesn't fold, but has a heavy duty frame for mounting stuff to.

Very cool! When I was researching softopper hard and heavy a year plus ago, canback was talking about making them again but hadn't at that point. If I recall correctly.

Did you buy new, or used?

Used. I got it off Craigslist, and for the price I paid, pretty much stole it.

oh cool, thanks for posting this up. I've been leaning towards tan but am hesitating. If you have time when those sides are rolled up post another pic!

There are two flaps at the front of the softopper. One flap goes between the cab and bed and has no method of attaching. It just hangs. The other flap is on the inside and contains Velcro strips to keep it secure. These two flaps join up just under the window.

The only way water would come in is of the flap that is suppose to go between the cab and bed, is put down in the bed. This would also prevent you from securing the other flap with Velcro.

    Not Enough.

Can I interest you in a access cab in indigo with a black top? If so, I can go roll mine up and take some pictures for you.

Here are the rails underneath. You'll notice some shiny surfaces on the rails still which are the locations of the colored coded dots. I painted them all seperately but I am going to touch those up this weekend.

The other shiny spot is from misplacing the clamp. I then moved it to its correct location but it took the paint with it...

couldn't fit the softopper under the RTT properly, so I had a custom one made to fit my InSain Fab bed rack
