That's great, thanks. How does it compare to the original factory paint?

as in color match? I got mine painted Quicksand (3rd Gen color) and did the door jams to. as in quality? I would say better as factory Toyota paint leaves a lot to be desired....but like with anything if you take care of it (wash/ wax) it will last. If you look in my build there is a pic of my truck the day I picked it up from MAACO, notice I have no bumpers on, I saved a few bucks by removing all of that instead of them charging me to do so.

Yeah! I saw it in your thread, but it's easier to ask someone who actually looks at it everyday. Lol.

My truck has the Metallic Black color right now. I was seriously considering repainting it the Toyota Sunfire Red Pearl color. I do like the look of the Quicksand though. MAACO told be it'll be another $300 to do a color change including jambs.

Should I keep it black or change the color?

I say if your painting it and want another color go for it...but just remember your engine bay will still be black and under the hood, not that matters but something to consider....when I painted my truck I was tossing up between Scion Gray (now the Tacoma cement color) and quicksand...which was funny as both of these colors weren't in production on the Tacoma as of yet. But chose quicksand since my truck was the original "gold" color so it wasn't a huge change. I love Black...when its clean, but its a bitch to keep it that way.

I'm really torn between that color and cement.... if I ever decide I can afford to buy the monstaline it'll be between those colors.
