    Oh I'm good on parts, as for my turd gen, this 17 has proven better than the lemon 16...

    I truly hope EVERYONE gets the parts they want and can complete their build, unimpeded, then we can all be happy and celebrate our shared Tacoma experience :cheers:

    Or did you mean the bit about 3rd gen Tacomas? For that I would point you to the search bar. I think the biggest problem some are reporting to have is shift issues with the auto tranny. And some report no problems. May you fall into the later category :)

    16 fell under lemon law, 2 going on 3 rear differentials, had been in the shop long enough to qualify and for same issue, would have kept it otherwise but Toyota refunded me a month's payment and set me up in my 17 for same terms, discount, etc.

    I've had a 2000, 2008, 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2017 ;)

    Lol, turd gen is just a nickname that is funny and has stuck and my 16 no I did not like having the rear differential replaced multiple times along with some other fit and finish issues. As for my 17 I will say this is my favorite Tacoma out of the 6 I've had, all gens and configs, so I am very happy with my turd gen right now.
