I installed the k&n and it was way too loud for me. So I got the trd and when cruising you don't hear it but when you nail it aND it gets over 3 1/2 thousand revs it sounds awesome but not too loud. I have heard people with the trd exhaust say they can't hear the intake because the exhaust drowns it out.
    Trd intake looks good too.
I think it helps with trottle responce too.

Did some more driving and small mods today. Debadged, installed my seat cover, and attempted to plastidip the tailgate but it ended up looking like crap so I peeled it. Had a small problem with the double sided tape not behaving but persistence won. Drink of the day was a Godfather after a redbull.

I might do the bumper covers next, they can be easily removed so i shouldn't have to do any masking.

I just installed the TRD today, I like it for ONE reason. It's not loud. I installed the MF Exhaust which is ... quite loud. Not obnoxiously douchebaggery loud, but louder than anticipated. So, that said, I was worried about how much louder the intake would make the truck overall. It doesn't. I can't hear it over my MF Exhaust, and I'm quite okay with that! I know it's serving it's purpose, and that's all I wanted and expected from it. My buddy has the aFe, and it's pretty damn loud even with his MF, haven't seen or heard the K&N in person yet. Also, I guess another prime reason for me picking TRD is exhaust regulations in the fu- er, great state of California!

the secret to getting a good edge is once you're ready to peel you spray another heavy coat so it mixes wet with the lower layer and while still moist you pull your tape off. It's not easy but that's the only way to get it clean. I've seen some try carefully with a razor blade but you better have surgeon steady hands for that.

Thanks, I knew I was missing something. It'd be nice to know what solvent they use to simulate this without using more dip but:notsure:. I'll try that soon, I'd like to really try the look out.

Redid my @CaliRaisedLed rock lights, more of "Bro Lights" haha. Thinking of installing a set of white ones like what I have for my courtesy lights. I...have a light addiction I think. By redid, I mean I cleaned up my wiring for my SwitchPro, mounted the lights in each wheel well and installed the Bluetooth module underneath the driver seat for a cleaner look20170608_215640.jpg 20170608_215744.jpg Snapchat-1905029683.jpg
